Part of my problem is the fact that I get way too many irons in the fire and totally forget projects, especially ones I put away. Right now I'm trying to get things together for an Autumn Blog swap, working on Jellybean's baby blanket and trying to find the time to finish sizing the baby sampler chart so I can buy the fabric and get started on it. See, too many iron!

What a sweet thing to have to remember your friend. I have something like that hanging on my wall that reminds me of my mother in law. I need to blog about that. Thanks for the idea.

Grammy Braxtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15719293877336161714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186006531196880035.post-3653994738952896732012-08-23T20:10:21.535-04:002012-08-23T20:10:21.535-04:00Oh Sharon! There will be grandchildren and then great grandchildren.....tell your hubby to stitch for the grandchildren while you stitch for yourself! LOL! I'm sure years ago you put things off because of the children. Do what Sharon wants to do....you can do it all too....work on the kids stuff and after a certain amount of time reward yourself with working on the angel. They will probably inherit it anyway someday and then it will remind them of you!
I want one too! Send me a copy if you ever have time. Once, years ago, my friend and I...we always loved the same things...we bought 2 projects exactly the same and we had a race to see who finished first and the loser had to take the winner out to dinner! It was really a win-win. It was so much fun and she died years ago and I always think of her now when I look at that cross stitch.Sam I Am......https://www.blogger.com/profile/17358633233189452832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186006531196880035.post-84532606087627783302012-08-15T01:43:12.121-04:002012-08-15T01:43:12.121-04:00Oh yes, all the colors at the time I bought it. It is my favorite crafty thing although I do enjoy crocheting very much. We didn't have much money and so, for Christmas, she bought it for me. Then 5 years later, after I had finished it, she had it framed for me. It was the last thing she gave me before she died and I treasure it. It hangs in my office where I can see it every day and remember her. One day you will finish Nefertiti and you will be glad you did.

SharonGrammy Braxtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15719293877336161714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1186006531196880035.post-13087680142181235012012-08-12T23:09:28.381-04:002012-08-12T23:09:28.381-04:00Oh Ellen, what a sweet, sweet message. I does mean so much to me to be able to say, "Thank you so much for all of you kindness."
Your angel is so beautiful.
