Grandchildren. Who knew that a simple, "I love you, Grammy", could melt my heart and make it bigger at the same time. Those words, those kisses, those smiles; they all crawl into my heart and find all the hidden places and make themselves at home. I never knew my heart could expand this much and still have room.
I spent Labor Day weekend with the most precious little creatures in my world.
Left to right: Lilly, Elijah and Ella. Those smiles say it all. Lilly is the mischievous one, Elijah is the sweet baby and Ella is all sweetness and drama. It's really hard not to go overboard talking about them.
It is enough to say that they are my love, my life and my joy. And, in January, there will be another one to crawl into my heart and make me smile. Four grandchildren! I am blessed beyond belief.
