Followers. I have followers!

First of all, I want to say a HUGE thank you to my followers. It is so exciting to look at the follower tab and see FOUR followers. My first follower, thank you Amanda of Crafty in the Med, was a big help in getting me started and was so kind to post a comment on that first blog. When I saw she was my first follower, I was smiling all over myself. Then today I get on to do a new post and WOW, I now have four! This is so much fun! Welcome to Sam, Cheryl, and Tammy! Thank you Tammy, here, for all your sweet comments and I promise to get some pictures posted here. Also thanks to Sam and Cheryl. You have all made me feel a part of this family.

Yesterday was not a good day here on the Front Porch, at least not for me. I have been dealing with quite a bit of pain for the last few days and I spent the day doing absolutely nothing. I can battle and push on for only so long before I have to have a down day. Today is better and hopefully this will continue.

The Hubs canned pickles yesterday. He is the canner and freezer of our garden (or rather, his garden) since I'm totally worthless in that department. I will post pictures of his lovely pickles as soon as I figure out how to do that.  :)

This will be a short post today. I have errands to run and it's not getting any cooler outside. Unfortunately, it's been so hot, I haven't even been in the swing for a while. Looking forward to September and the start of fall (my favorite time of year). I will be sitting out there and enjoying the changing of the seasons.

Thank you for dropping by. Have a lovely day wherever you are.

Sharon

  2. You have nine followers now :D So glad you've decided to join the fun. And, as you know, I'm an RA sufferer too, so I know how it is. Hugs x

  3. Hope you have a better day today too. I've been "feeling" it in my joints and for me I think it's being in the air conditioning so much this Summer. Where do you live in the South? I'm in North Central, Arkansas and it's been in the 100's practically all month!
I can't wait for Fall either and like you it's my FAV! Take care!
